Victor.

  4. I love your blog. I work for myself in IT and sell a lot of computers. I always have lots of cardboard boxes laying around which I occasionally make stuff out of. I have my own laptop stand I made from an online template. I have an iPhone stand I made from the left over cardboard from the laptop stand.

How do you cut the cardboard?

I use a sharp knife like a utility knife on a hard surface that I don't mind scratching up. However I want to find a better, faster and less wasteful way to cut out the cardboard.

    Cheers

    Saludos!

Stefano: thanks for your comment. It's fun to make things out of cardboard boxes.
I cut the cardboard with a utility knife too. I'm looking forward to get some CNC machining but it's just too expensive.

  6. I really enjoy making things out of cardboard. I am happy to be putting something to re-use that would otherwise end up in landfill.

Good to hear that the utility knife is what you're using too. I never thought about a CNC machine, probably because it is so expensive. But imagine the quality and consistency of the work?

Thanks for your reply. I'm following your blog for more ideas I can make out of cardboard. I didn't realise you produce these items for sale. Excellent! Why not? Make money and save the environment.
